Job Summary

This role is to add to our busy airfreight team in Manchester. Handling shipments from start to finish Main focus would be on Air exports whilst assisting at busy periods on air imports to ensure our customers and overseas partners receive a seamless airfreight experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Quotations.
  • Producing all documentation for export shipments.
  • Completion of customs declarations.
  • Track shipments.
  • Follow up on Pre-Alerts / Post Flights
  • Authenticating supplier invoices.
  • Completing customer invoicing within revenue recognition policy.
  • Adding accurate costs to the system to ensure financial reports correct.
  • Recording correspondence in eDocs.
  • Dealing with queries, both shipment and invoice.
  • Promotion of additional services to clients.
  • Ensuring all internal SOP’s are followed correctly.
  • Awareness of Deferment and Government Gateway accounting procedures.
  • Ensuring any tasks within Workflow are actioned quickly

  • IT Literate in Microsoft Office

  • To be successful in your application you will have proven experience working within a freight forwarding or air operations environment.
  • CW1 experience an advantage but not essential as full training and support will be provided.
