Job Summary
This role is to support the day to day warehouse and contracts logistics office. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the daily operational needs for our customers from orders and receipts to picks.
- Managing and updating SOPs where required.
- Running storage reports, units picked, pallet utilisation.
- Improving KPI by implementing pick strategies.
- Stock adjustments.
- Ensuring replenishment of stock is completed to prevent any unavailable items.
- Proactively liaising with customer in regard to returns, stock requirements and operational concerns.
- Troubleshooting any issues during process.
- Meeting targets with both couriers, Transport Team, and customers.
- Arranging shipments with Transport Team based on customer requirements.
- Accurately invoicing and accruing and costs on all orders and receipts raised.
- Working closely with Warehouse Team on all orders, picks, and container arrivals.
- Order picking.
- Assisting in all warehouse roles, not just one primary role.
- Assist with load and unloading of vehicles, checking against notes to ensure accuracy of receipt or dispatch of goods.
- Booking in of all incoming stock and storing in a safe manner. Ensuring these are put in the correct locations.
- Raise concerns/issues with Warehouse Manager as soon as they are noted.
- Maintain a safe working environment by applying a ‘Safety First’ approach to working.

- Good customer service skills
- Able to converse with clients, suppliers, agents, and colleagues in a professional and clear manner.
- Computer literate, Microsoft office applications.
- Committed and able to deal with challenging scenarios.
- Flexibility in the workplace.

- Able to organise their workload and workspace.

- Willing to go the extra mile by starting early / finishing late when needed or asked.

- Regular check ins and appraisals.
- Customer feedback.
- Feedback from Management and Peers.
- Minimal escalations from clients and colleagues.
- Goods in are booked in promptly once arrived and paperwork handed to office staff.
- No damage to stock.
- Picks are completely timely, accurately, both in count and description.
