With the continually evolving impact of COVID-19’s spread around the world, Xpand Logistics Ltd has implemented a series of measures to ensure the continued wellbeing of our people, our customers and our business.
Whilst the virus has closed borders for people, European road freight lanes have not currently been affected and the movement of goods across these borders continues to flow. Therefore we continue to develop our responses in line with recommendations.
Our response to the current situation has led us to;
- Form a dedicated COVID-19 team to spearhead our response to the situation as it evolves.
- Create a business plan which facilitates our warehouses remaining open for business.
- Deliver concise information to all employees to ensure all Government guidelines relating to their own and others health and safety are followed.
- Equip our employees with the necessary infrastructure to work remotely whilst maintaining as normal a service as possible for our customers.
The possibility of disruption to our day-to-day operations as this situation develops is at the forefront of our minds and planning. We will continue to proactively review our responses to ensure they meet all Government recommendations, whilst continuing to deliver the best possible service for our customers.
