XPand Logistics have supported Samaritans of Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot and Districts for a number of years, maintaining a long-standing relationship which has helped raise much needed funds for those in need. Despite cancellation of the 10k & 5k running events during COVID, XPand continued their sponsorship in a bid to keep supporting such a worthy cause.
On June 24th this year, the team were delighted to be back in full force, with our veteran participant Darren Phillips completing the 10k in just over 56 minutes. Also taking part in the 5k run were Dan McNab, Danny Woods and Kevin Wyatt, who all completed the race in under 28 minutes!
Fred Osborn, Non-Executive Director, also volunteered at the event, manning one of the water stations supplying runners with water on the course.
